Spanish is the official language, but our staff at K59 can assist you in English. A translation app can be helpful for exploring beyond the resort.
Pack lightweight clothing, board shorts, rashguards, and sandals. Bring high-SPF sunblock, a hat, a reusable water bottle, and reef booties if you plan to surf rocky point breaks. No wetsuit needed!
Very few. There are no shark problems in El Salvador. You may occasionally encounter jellyfish or sea urchins. Rip currents are possible, so early morning sessions when conditions are calmest are recommended. Our staff provides daily surf condition updates.
